Andy Cohen Steps In as Ariana Biermann Breaks Down Over ‘Spiral’

Andy Cohen offered reassuring words after Ariana Biermann became emotional while reflecting on her relationship choices during the Next Gen NYC Season 2 reunion.

During Part 2 of the reunion, Ariana looked back on how her decisions affected Liam Obergfoll, Charlie Zakkour, and Hudson McLeroy. As she became increasingly critical of herself, Andy encouraged her to stop carrying so much guilt over what happened.

Ariana got emotional as Andy addressed her regrets at the Next Gen NYC Season 2 reunion

Andy noticed that Ariana was still struggling with how she handled her relationships during the season.

“Give yourself a break,” he told her, reminding Ariana that she was only 24.

He also pointed to the circumstances surrounding her choices, including Hudson’s difficult situation, her growing connection with Liam and Charlie’s continued attention.

“Just give yourself a break. It’s like, don’t beat yourself up,” Andy said.

According to Bravo, when Andy asked whether she had been blaming herself, Ariana admitted, “Definitely.”

She then explained why watching the season back had affected her so deeply.

“I think it was a really tough point in my life, and I didn’t fully realize that,” Ariana said. “I wanted to give my all to somebody and I thought I could, and I couldn’t. And then I just kind of went down this spiral.”

Ariana also reflected on kissing Charlie shortly after stepping back from Liam.

“Watching it all back was horrible. And it sucked. And [Liam] didn’t deserve that,” she said.

She added that the behavior did not reflect how she wanted to carry herself and said she felt disappointed in her own actions.

Riley Burruss also told Ariana that she had noticed how harshly Ariana had judged herself. Ariana responded, “I don’t need anybody to judge me. I do it myself.”

Liam then offered support of his own and told Ariana that he did not hold her mistakes against her.

“Make mistakes. Live your f–kin’ life. Do what you gotta do,” he said. “Like, we’re all here. No one’s judging you.”

Charlie also acknowledged his role in the situation. He said the connection between them had felt real but admitted he would have handled things differently if he had the chance.
