'Tis the season for queens celebrating queens.
Ariana Grande is gushing about Barbra Streisand after the EGOT winner shared a touching tribute to her on social media in the wake of the "Thank U, Next" singer's *Saturday Night Live* hosting stint.
It all started Tuesday, when Streisand shared a sweet throwback picture with Grande and listed her many talents in the caption on Instagram.
"Ariana is a young woman with an amazing talent," Streisand began. "She has a beautiful voice like no one else, and so much more."
Referring to her recent album *The Secret of Life: Partners, Volume *2, Streisand added of Grande, "She can act, she can dance, she can be funny! She's also sweet, kind and thoughtful. I'm very proud of you Ariana and thanks for singing with me on my album…"

The "Evergreen" singer ended her note with a sweet postscript. "P.S. you were wonderful on *Saturday Night Live* and looked so pretty @arianagrande," she wrote.
Shortly after the post went up, Grande commented on it with a plethora of exclamation points and emojis to express her apparent excitement. "Barbra !!!!!!!! what !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oh my goodness, thank you so much for this kindest surprise today!" she wrote. "You made my day, my year, my life! this means so much, coming from you. i just love you so. i miss you and i hope i get to hug you soon… all my love and appreciation. thank you."
Per *Rolling Stone*, the photo that went along with the Instagram post was taken in 2019, during the *Thank U, Next* era, when Grande made a surprise appearance at Streisand’s concert at the United Center in Chicago. Together, the two performed Streisand and Donna Summer's 1979 duet "No More Tears (Enough Is Enough)."

In addition to their musical performances together, Grande and Streisand have another interesting upcoming project linking them: Grande is starring in the fourth *Meet the Parents* film, *Focker In-Law*. Streisand, of course, joined the franchise for the second film, *Meet the Fockers*, in 2004, and reprised her role of Roz Focker in the 2010 follow-up, *Little Fockers*. It's unclear if she'll also be joining Grande in the fourth film.
In fact, details are still largely under wraps on the plot of the fourth movie, though producer Jane Rosenthal told *Variety* earlier this year, "[Ben] Stiller is now the same age that [Robert De Niro] was when we did the first one, and his kids have grown up, and they have to come home and meet the parents."

For Grande, the part in the comedy will mark her first acting role since filming the two *Wicked* movies. The second installment, *Wicked: For Good*, arrived in theaters Nov. 21. The new *Meet the Parents* movie is then scheduled to hit theaters Nov. 25, 2026.**
