- Bad Bunny wiped his Instagram profile clean Monday, leaving no posts and no profile picture.

- Little is known about why the musician made the bold move, which came hours after his performance at the Super Bowl LX halftime show.

- Bad Bunny is in the midst of the *Debí Tirar Más Fotos *world tour, which is planned to run through July.

In the wake of the biggest performance of his career, Bad Bunny has vanished — from Instagram, at least.

Mere hours after the Puerto Rican musical sensation's history-making headlining of the Super Bowl LX halftime show, his 52.7 million Instagram followers were greeted by a shock when they visited his page, previously populated by countless images, posts, and snippets of songs. Suddenly, on Monday, @badbunnypr was wiped clean. No posts, no profile picture, and no accounts in its following list.

Remaining on Bad Bunny's page are part of his real name — Benito Antonio, as in Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio — and a link to his album website debitirarmasfotos.com. The site directs visitors to various platforms where they can stream or buy the album, shop Bad Bunny's merchandise, and discover details about upcoming dates on his *Debí Tirar Más Fotos *world tour.

It was not immediately clear what motivated the musician's seemingly sudden impulse to start fresh. Bad Bunny is one of the most followed musical acts on Instagram, outstripped only by the likes of A-listers like Lady Gaga, Shawn Mendes, Dua Lipa, and some others.

It's become common practice for creatives to blank out their social media presences before announcing a new project, but Bad Bunny is already in the midst of a global tour that extends through July.

Representatives for Bad Bunny didn't immediately respond to **'s request for comment.

The 31-year-old native of Bayamón rose to prominence by sharing rough demos of songs and songwriting experiments on Soundcloud in the early 2010s. By last year, after the release of his sixth studio album, Bad Bunny became the most streamed artist in the world on Spotify.

His Super Bowl halftime performance transported attendees at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif., and the millions watching at home back to the sunny shores of Bayamón, with a thumping casita full of dancers, celebrity cameos from Pedro Pascal and Cardi B, and surprise songs from Lady Gaga and fellow Puerto Rican Ricky Martin.

Though his politically charged set was met with some conservative pushback, such as President Donald Trump calling it "an affront to the Greatness of America" and influencer-turned-boxer Jake Paul erroneously referring to Bad Bunny as "a fake American citizen," it was one of the most widely viewed programs in recent media history, drawing a projected 128 million viewers.
