Brandi Carlile reschedules European tour due to ‘personal circumstances’: ‘Will be worth the wait’

Brandi Carlile has moved some European dates on her tour from this fall to the spring.
The “Right on Time” singer had to cancel her appearance in one city that she was unable to reschedule.
Carlile is the latest major artist to cancel or change tour dates in 2026.
Brandi Carlile will be in Paris in the spring after all.
The Highwomen singer had planned to take her current The Human Tour to European cities this fall, but she announced Friday that she’s rescheduled the dates for shows in Paris; Oslo, Norway; Dublin, Ireland; Amsterdam; and elsewhere due to “personal circumstances.”
“I need to let you know that due to personal circumstances, I have no choice but to reschedule my UK and European tour from this fall to the spring,” she wrote on Instagram. “I have been so profoundly anxious about this decision and I’m aware that this change may be disappointing and inconvenient for many of you, especially those of you who were planning on traveling internationally, but I am hoping this gives you all enough time to adjust any plans.”
The artist behind songs including “The Joke,” “The Story,” and “Right on Time,” said that, after changing up the dates, she’s planned additional shows on that leg of the tour.
“My team has been working really hard behind the scenes to reschedule the tour with as little disruption as possible. However, due to availability, a few of the venues have changed, but we thought it was more important to get back over there and play these shows as soon as we possibly could. The good news is, this has also enabled us to add more shows which I couldn’t be more excited to play!”

The downside, she continued, is that she had to cancel her appearance in one city.

“To my beloved Portuguese fans, sadly Lisbon was the only show that we could not make work with these rescheduled dates,” wrote Carlile, 45. “I’m so sorry and I promise we will do everything in our power to get back to you as soon as we can.”
The Grammy winner thanked fans for their “patience and understanding.”
“I want nothing more than to see my friends across the pond,” Carlile continued, “and I have done everything in my power to avoid rescheduling this tour. I sincerely hope you’ll all come back and see me in the spring. I promise I will make it up to you and that it will be worth the wait!”

The artist is far from the only one who’s changed up her plans for concerts this year,
Dolly Parton, Post Malone, and the Rolling Stones are just some of the other big acts who have canceled or postponed tours this year for one reason or another.
Just this week, legacy band ZZ Top abruptly canceled their show planned for the Hollywood Bowl just hours before it was supposed to have taken place. The “Sharp Dressed Man” artists cited “unforeseen personnel matters.”
