Mendes shared a wedding planning update in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE
The bride-to-be added that she's "still learning" what her "wedding persona" is
Camila Mendes is opening up about wedding planning with Rudy Mancuso.
While exclusively speaking with PEOPLE at the New York premiere of her upcoming comedy Idiotka on Thursday, Feb. 5, Mendes, 31, shared that she's "still learning" what her "wedding persona" is as she plans her nuptials with her fiancé, 33.
"I've never been somebody who's like, had a big vision for my wedding, so I'm just still learning what my wedding persona or personality is," the Riverdale alum tells PEOPLE.
She continues, "So I'm still getting into it, but I think we know the venue, so that's something."

Last year, a representative for the actress confirmed to PEOPLE that Mancuso proposed on Friday, Oct. 24. The couple celebrated with their loved ones at an engagement party at Caribbean restaurant Lucia in Los Angeles. The party was attended by many celebrities, including Riverdale alums Madelaine Petsch, KJ Apa and Lili Reinhart.
At the time, a source revealed to PEOPLE how Mancuso pulled off the surprise.
“She thought she was going to a birthday party for producing partner Rachel Matthews, but it was a surprise engagement party instead,” the insider said. “Rudy proposed to her in front of their family and friends.”
The celebration didn't end there. “Around 11 p.m., they were still celebrating, so they went to Glen Powell’s tracksuit and tequila-themed birthday party," the source added.Mendes described her proposal as the "best surprise ever" on Instagram afterward. "Thank you to all our loved ones who came out to celebrate this milestone with us," she added.

Mendes and Mancuso connected on the set of Música, where they played love interests Rudy and Isabella. It wasn't long before "lines began to blur between Rudy and Isabella and Rudy and Cami," Mancuso previously told PEOPLE. The pair officially started dating in July 2022, as Mendes clarified their relationship timeline by sharing in a sweet anniversary post a year later.
Idiotka premieres in select theaters on Friday, Feb. 27.
