Chris Hemsworth says it took a bit of “negotiation” to get his teenage daughter India Rose Hemsworth to reprise her role as Love in *Avengers: Doomsday*.

The actor, who plays Thor across the Marvel Cinematic Universe, revealed on Wednesday’s episode of *The View *that he had to “bribe” India to come to set and film her sequences for the upcoming superhero blockbuster. **

“She’s now 13, so she’s a teenager, so a bit different to when we shot the other one,” Chris said, referring to India’s previous performance in 2022’s* Thor: Love and Thunder*. “And she walks on set and she’s like, ‘Ugh, how long is this gonna take?’ I was like, ‘We haven’t even started!’”

Things only got worse after they filmed their first take together, only for India to remark: “‘Are we done?’” **

When the God of Thunder actor informed his daughter that they had “another two or three days” of shooting to complete, she was less than enthused.

“She’s like, ‘Aww, God,’” Chris recalled, laughing as he noted that India had “just this angsty, sort of teenage attitude” about filming and would often retreat to her tent or sit in a chair.

“And in the end, I had to bribe her to come onto set,” he continued. “She’s like, ‘I’m not coming! I’m not even getting paid! What am I even doing here?’ And I go, ‘You are getting paid.’ She goes, ‘*Really*? You didn’t tell me that.’”**

Chris said that he tried to explain to his daughter that the money she earned on the project would be saved until she turned 18, but that India immediately wanted a cut.

“She goes, ‘Nah! Nah, I want some of it now,’” he recalled. “And [*Doomsday* co-director] Joe Russo and the directors are there and they’re like, ‘…We gotta get her on set.’” **

Chris also clarified that his daughter was not throwing “a tantrum by any means,” but agreed with *View* cohost Sara Haines that India has become a “difficult actor already.”

Still, he noted that part of the reason why India was so keen to flee the superhero set was because she wanted to attend a Billie Eilish concert that evening. “She’s like, ‘When’s it?’ I’m like, ‘It doesn’t start yet! We’re not gonna miss it! Just get on set!'”

In the end, the dad of three was able to get his daughter back on track by acknowledging the money could be used to purchase a new motorbike.**

“She races motorbikes and rides motorbikes and she goes, ‘…Could I afford that motorbike that I wanted?'” Chris remembered. “I was like, ‘You possibly could.’ So a slight negotiation and off she went.”

Chris and India are just two of the stars set to appear in *Avengers: Doomsday *when it explodes into theaters on Dec. 18. The father-daughter duo appeared in a teaser trailer for the film in December, which saw Thor praying to his father Odin for the strength to survive one last fight. **

*Doomsday* also stars Chris Evans, Vanessa Kirby, Anthony Mackie, Pedro Pascal, Tom Hiddleston, Letitia Wright, Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, Rebecca Romjin, and more. Robert Downey Jr. is also set to return not as Iron Man/Tony Stark, but as the villainous Dr. Doom/Victor Von Doom.

In addition to India, Chris is also dad to twin sons Sasha and Tristan, 11, whom he shares with wife Elsa Pataky.**
