Daniella Karagach and Pasha Pashkov‘s sweet tooth led to their latest venture.
Earlier this summer, Karagach and her husband Pasha Pashkov announced Sulta Rosa, a luxury dessert shop. The café, located in Miami, blends the Dancing With the Stars couple’s entrepreneurial spirit with their love for desserts.
“We are the biggest foodies,” Karagach tells PEOPLE at the Dancing With the Stars Con on Friday, July 31. “We love good coffee. We love good food. We love dessert.”
Sulta Rosa offers a variety of handcrafted desserts, including baklava and croissants, as well as specialty coffee drinks.
“What’s really special about our dessert shop is that we have dessert from all over the world,” she says. “It’s not just American. It’s Turkish. It’s Eastern European. It’s Italian. French. We have so many different cultural desserts.”

“I love the fact that people come in, and they don’t know what baklava is. And they’re like, ‘I have never tried it, but I’m never going to live my life without baklava,’” the Mirrorball champion says. “It’s nice that we get to introduce people to other cultures and food.”

The husband-and-wife duo settled on their Miami location when Pashkov’s best friend told them about a spot on Lincoln Road and asked if they’d want to collaborate, Karagach explains. “We were like, ‘Why not? We have five other businesses. We could do this one too, right?’” she says.
The dessert shop is located on Miami Beach’s iconic Lincoln Road, which Pashkov told Forbes in a July interview felt like the “right place to bring the concept to life.”
Karagach told the outlet that they hope Sulta Rosa can be more than a dessert shop to its patrons.
“We wanted Sulta Rosa to be somewhere people can enjoy throughout the day,” she notes. “Whether you’re stopping in for a morning coffee, taking a break from walking around Lincoln Road with an iced drink and something sweet, opening your laptop to get some work done, meeting friends, or ending your day with dessert, we wanted to create a place where people can slow down, relax and enjoy being present with each other.”
