The FBI has released the first photos and videos of Nancy Guthrie's alleged kidnapper.

Pima County Sheriff's Department
"Over the last eight days, the FBI and Pima County Sheriff’s Department have been working closely with our private sector partners to continue to recover any images or video footage from Nancy Guthrie’s home that may have been lost, corrupted, or inaccessible due to a variety of factors — including the removal of recording devices," Patel wrote on X. "The video was recovered from residual data located in backend systems."
Patel continued, "Working with our partners — as of this morning, law enforcement has uncovered these previously inaccessible new images showing an armed individual appearing to have tampered with the camera at Nancy Guthrie's front door the morning of her disappearance."
Patel also shared a post with more photos and two video clips from the same camera, which appeared to show the suspect identifying the Nest camera and attempting to cover it with a gloved hand. The footage subsequently shows the suspect grabbing leaves from the front yard and draping them over the camera lens to avoid further detection. The suspect also appeared to have a holstered handgun.
The Pima County Sheriff's Department also shared Patel's post on X, adding, "There are no press briefings planned at this time. Sheriff Nanos is not conducting one-on-one interviews."
Savannah Guthrie shared the images on her Instagram account on Tuesday morning as well. "We believe she is still alive," she wrote. "Bring her home."
Nancy Guthrie was last seen the evening of Jan. 31, after family members dropped her off at her home in Pima County, Ariz. On Feb. 1, authorities declared her missing and launched a large-scale search. On Feb. 2, Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos announced that Guthrie's disappearance was now being investigated as a crime, and her home was declared a crime scene.

A pair of Arizona TV stations, KOLD and KGUN, received an alleged ransom note demanding $4 million in Bitcoin by Feb. 5. However, that deadline passed without any public reports of the sum being paid, which meant the ransom amount jumped to $6 million with a Monday night deadline. That deadline has also passed without reports of the ransom being paid.
