Giannina Gibelli and Blake Horstmann are expecting their second child, due in March

They describe the pregnancy as exciting and fulfilling their dream of growing their family
Giannina Gibelli and Blake Horstmann are going to be parents again!
The Love Is Blind star, 33, and The Bachelorette alum, 37, are expecting their second baby together, sharing the news exclusively with PEOPLE. Gibelli and Horstmann, who tied the knot this past June and are already parents to 2-year-old son Heath, will welcome their next little one in March.
“We were aiming to have a honeymoon baby, so by the time it would’ve popped up on an at-home pregnancy test, I ended up taking it too early so it showed negative,” explains Gibelli. “Then the next day, I felt some pressure around my abdomen, just a very distinct feeling, so I thought, ‘Why not? I’ll take it again.’”

“I was shocked when I saw two little pink lines pop up. I kept it a secret for about three days to just soak it all in and plan how I would tell Blake,” she continues. “But I told Heath, our 2-year-old, right away.”
Gibelli says sharing the news with their friends and family has been “so sweet,” noting that their family was a bit surprised but excited that they’re growing their family.
“It just feels nice to be able to finally talk about it because it is so consuming,” says Gibelli. “It’s already a different pregnancy than our first, definitely lethargic like the first but way more nausea. I’m still craving fruit and smoothies like the first time. It’s a must.”

Although Gibelli and Horstmann know the sex of their baby-to-be, the two are choosing to keep the news to themselves for the time being.
“We’re not one of those couples that can go through an entire pregnancy guessing,” jokes Gibelli. “Gotta plan the outfits, ya know?”
The proud mom says her son Heath is so excited to be upgraded to big brother status.
“Heath honestly has been wanting a baby for a while now,” she says. “He hugs and kisses the belly and says, ‘Daddy, look, baby!’ We just know he’s going to be the best big brother imaginable.”

As they get ready to become a family of four, Gibelli shares that she and Horstmann are excited to make more memories together and watch their family grow.
“We’re thrilled,” she says. “It’s everything we’ve always wanted, and the fact that we got our honeymoon baby just solidifies that timing is perfect in its own way.”
“Watching our family grow is the purpose of life and picturing what our Christmases and holidays and sleep Sundays are going to look like is the stuff of dreams.”
