Harper Stern has her secrets, and so does Myha'la.

The *Industry* star is starting her year by letting the cat out of the bag: It turns out the actress has been secretly married to her partner, Armando Rivera, for a full year. The couple revealed the news with a joint Instagram post showcasing photos from their private wedding day.

"One year of marriage," Myha'la captioned the carousel. "Sos if this is how you're finding out, promise we didn't tell most everyone."

The photos feature Myha'la and Rivera posing throughout the day of an intimate apartment ceremony, joined by a seemingly small group of loved ones.

"Endlessly grateful to our friends and family for helping make this day so very magical," Myha'la concluded the post.

Myha'la and Rivera have been together since 2020, following a virtual meet-cute that he initiated by sliding into her DMs in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. The two actors, like much of the world, were isolated in lockdown when Rivera reached out on social media to profess his love of *Industry*. Afterward, he messaged Myha'la again in the hopes of interviewing her for a college project.

While recounting their love story to *W* magazine in a joint interview, Myha'la admitted that she didn't expect anything to come of the Zoom call. "I thought, it'll be five, ten minutes, whatever. And immediately was like, 'Whoa, you're so hot and nice,'" she recalled. "We talked much longer than we expected."

Rivera added, "I was only going to ask a couple questions, and then we talked for 40 minutes. After I ended the recording, she was asking me questions about myself. I was like, 'Is she [interested]… *Nah*.' I thought she was just being nice."

Myha'la shared that from there, they "kept finding reasons to talk," eventually started having FaceTime dates, and by January of 2021, decided to meet in person. Two years later, they were engaged.

Asked about their eventual wedding in 2024, Myha'la said she wasn't quite ready to commit to date, largely because it would complicate her availability for upcoming work.

"I would love to say that I'm financially secure enough to be like, 'Yeah, I'm going to say no to a job,' but that's just not the case," she told *Marie Claire*. "I'd rather buy property first and then pay for a wedding… and we live in New York, so God knows when or if *that's* ever going to happen."

In the end, the couple found a loophole by tying the knot just five months later with their secret wedding ceremony.**
