Jimmy Kimmel appeared on British TV to deliver an impassioned anti-Donald Trump speech.

The talk show host called the United States a "right mess" before apologizing to the United Kingdom.

Kimmel said that "tyranny is booming" in the nation.

Jimmy Kimmel has officially taken his disdain for Donald Trump overseas, as the comedian, talk show host, and frequent recipient of the president's ire ripped the politician during a televised Christmas Day speech in the United Kingdom.

British network Channel 4 announced earlier this week that the Jimmy Kimmel Live host would front the annual broadcast slot, which is typically aired by the station as counter-programming to the sitting royal figure's traditional holiday address.

The 58-year-old began his remarks on Thursday by labeling the speech an "alternative Christmas message," which came months after Trump, 79, and other conservatives publicly called for ABC to cancel Live following the host's temporary suspension over on-air comments he made following the Sept. 10 assassination of controversial commentator Charlie Kirk.

In a New York Times report about the speech, which is not currently available online in the U.S., the publication noted that Kimmel began by expressing that he wasn't too familiar with the Channel 4 tradition of hosting various (sometimes polarizing) figures on Christmas Day.

"I do know what’s going on over here, though, and I can tell you that, from a fascism perspective, this has been a really great year. Tyranny is booming over here," the Times reported of Kimmel's comments.

Kimmel then referenced his prior suspension from ABC, telling U.K. audiences that Trump wanted to "shut me up because I don’t adore him in the way he likes to be adored," and pointed out that widespread support led to his reinstatement on the channel.

“We won, the president lost, and now I’m back on the air every night," Kimmel continued, before calling Trump “King Donny the Eighth” and referencing him as “the guy who thinks he is our king,” with the Times further noting that Kimmel accused the Trump administration of "figuratively and literally tearing down the structures of our democracy."

The comedian called the U.S. "a right mess" in terms of politics, and implored the British public to forgive his nation.

He then apologized to them for any fallout that might impact the U.K., and requested, “Don’t give up on us."

Looking ahead, he admitted that, while America is “going through a bit of a wobble” at present, but Britain should “give us about three years" to course-correct with the 2028 presidential election.

“I want you to know that we’re not all like him, we’re not all like that. It may not seem like it, but we love you guys,” finished Kimmel in his speech, which aired approximately three hours after King Charles III gave the annual royal address to the country.

Entertainment Weekly has reached out to the White House for a response.

Amid several outbursts over comedians and late night TV hosts in America, Trump once again lashed out at Kimmel's peer, Stephen Colbert, in a social media rant shared just after midnight on Christmas Eve.

"Stephen Colbert is a pathetic trainwreck, with no talent or anything else necessary for show business success. Now, after being terminated by CBS, but left out to dry, he has actually gotten worse, along with his nonexistent ratings," he wrote, referencing the cancellation of Colbert's Late Show — which many speculated was a politically motivated move aimed at sweetening a then-impending merger between Skydance and Paramount, which needed FCC approval to move forward. "Stephen is running on hatred and fumes ~ A dead man walking! CBS should, 'put him to sleep,' NOW, it is the humanitarian thing to do!"

Elsewhere in Trump-related Christmas news, a jazz musician canceled an annual Kennedy Center Christmas concert after the president had his name installed on the exterior of the venue, which serves as a legally protected memorial to President John F. Kennedy.
