Kelly Osbourne and Sid Wilson have ended their engagement, a source tells PEOPLE
Their split comes amid months of speculation about their relationship struggles and differing priorities
“She just doesn’t want the drama in her life right now,” the insider says
Kelly Osbourne and Sid Wilson have ended their engagement.
A source exclusively tells PEOPLE that the former couple has split after going through a difficult period for months. Osbourne, 41, and Wilson, 49, first began dating in January 2022 and welcomed their son Sidney later that year. They got engaged three years later in July 2025.
“There is no secret that she’s not happy with him. They’ve had a lot of back and forth,” the source tells PEOPLE. “They’re not together right now.”
The insider adds that Osbourne’s “priority” is her mother and that “she wants to stay close to Sharon.” Osbourne is also “very focused” on being the “best mom she can be” to her 3-year-old son.
“She just doesn’t want the drama in her life right now,” the source says. “Sid has a lot he needs to work through on his own.”
PEOPLE reached out to representatives for Osbourne and Wilson for comment.

The news of their split comes two days after Osbourne posted several cryptic messages about parenting on her Instagram Stories that appeared to be directed at Wilson.
“Strange how the loudest defense of the guilty is rarely innocence… It’s distraction,” she wrote. “When the mask slips, they don’t face the mirror they throw it at someone else.”

Osbourne then added, “My son’s little heart once beat right beside mine. So trust me when I say… I will protect it at all costs.”
“My job is to protect my kids. Not your feelings. Not your expectations. Not judgments I didn’t ask for,” her Instagram Stories continued. “My responsibility is to protect their wellbeing. Their nervous systems. Their emotional safety.”
“I will choose them every single time. Over anyone. Over everything,” the post continued. Osbourne concluded her series of posts, writing, “Also, while I’m at it, can I have my dogs back and all my possessions. Oh yeah and maybe some child support?”

The Monday, Aug. 3 Instagram Stories followed the speculation in March that Osbourne and Wilson had called off their engagement. At the time, a source told PEOPLE that the couple was navigating a tough time in their relationship.
“She’s been in a challenging headspace for several reasons. It’s been very emotional for her. She’s had a lot going on,” the insider told PEOPLE in March.

“Ozzy’s death still affects her deeply. She’s very focused on being there for her mom right now. They’re incredibly close, and that’s been her priority,” the source said in reference to the late Black Sabbath singer’s death in July 2025.
“It’s been hard for Kelly and Sid to balance everything, especially with different priorities about where to spend time,” the source added. “This has put a strain on their relationship.”
