- Lambrini Girls won't be making their Coachella debut on Saturday after singer Phoebe Lunny suffered a neck fracture and an "acute brain injury."
- The band will be rescheduling their U.S. tour dates as a result of the injury as well as canceling their Coachella sets.
- The punk rock band hopes they can play at Coachella 2027.
Lambrini Girls won't be gracing the Coachella stage this year.
On April 8, the band that features Phoebe Lunny and Selin Macieira-Boşgelmez announced on Instagram that they won't be at the music festival after Lunny suffered a neck fracture and an "acute brain injury." They also rescheduled tour dates for the American leg of their tour, but plan to keep the dates for their Europe and U.K. stops.
"A lot of you asking about why we are not on the @coachella lineup anymore," they captioned their Instagram update, which featured a shot of Lunny in a hospital gown and showing her backside surrounded by broken heart emojis.
"We have to pull out of Coachella and reschedule our whole American headline tour," the text on the second slide of the punk band's post read. "Long story short: I fractured my neck and have an acute brain injury."
The injury, which occurred while in Australia, was "misdiagnosed, late treatment, doctors orders are I can't fly or perform for 6 weeks."

Lunny added: "Seeing people of all ages, genders and backgrounds come together to mosh, lift each other up, chant, cry, scream in both parts joyful and angry, is my greatest joy.”
The singer noted that she is "gutted" Lambrini Girls won't be taking the stage at Coachella.
"We wanted to be there so badly. If it was a broken leg, I would do a [Dave Grohl] and play it," she said, referring to the Foo Fighters frontman falling off the stage during a 2015 show in Sweden, breaking his leg, and performing from a custom throne a month later.
