Mark Ruffalo's 25-year-old lookalike son Keen is following in his father's footsteps as has landed his first major gig in Hollywood.

Keen is taking on the role of Connor Jacobson, who is an adopted twin to Annie (played by Ella Rubin) in the Amazon Prime drama Sterling Silver. In the series, the pair discover that they have inherited a Canadian island from their dead, estranged grandfather. The show follows them, along with a group of teens as navigate a summer of self-discovery, romance, and hidden family secrets.

The show's first eight episodes premiered on Amazon Prime on Wednesday, Aug. 5, and have already been met with rave reviews from early viewers. This comes as Keen's father Mark recently slammed President Donald Trump for his "crackdown" on free speech in entertainment industry.

Sterling Silver marks Keen's first major role in the acting space after dropping out of Drexel University during the COVID-19 pandemic, where he studied fashion design. Over the years, Keen has made brief appearances in films like Thor: Ragnarok (2017), Nimrods (2025), and Suspicious Minds (2023), but this marks his biggest role to date.

Sharing is excitement to be participating in the project, Keen told The Hollywood Reporter, “It’s such a cool thing to be doing with them because we’re all at this weird point [in our careers]. Being able to work with such talented creators and artists at that point in their career where we’re all still getting the hang of it a little bit is something that’s really special and not very common.”

While discussing his career path, Keen shared that he was never pushed to act by his famous father, but rather discovered a passion for the art on his own.

He explained, "My parents were never ones to make us do anything or, especially, impose any of their own ideas for what our career paths might be, which I appreciated a lot. Maybe [they were] a little bit more enthusiastic about playing soccer, but they were kind of like, 'Yeah, do whatever.'"

Sharing some of the wisdom his dad passed onto him, Keen said, "Yeah, resident expert, but he was always talking about how he had to do so many auditions before he even got into a room, where they even gave him a chance."

Keen continued, "Keeping that in mind and not beating myself up over not getting something that I was really excited for, or knowing that eventually something will come around, [and] you just really need to keep up until you get there and don’t drive yourself crazy. I think that’s a really hard part about it."

Since the series debuted on Amazon Prime this month, viewers have already shared their hopes for a season two. On a newly posted Reddit thread, one viewer wrote, "I’m on the last episode and I’m already so bummed about it ending. It’s so good."

Another fan added, "I could have written this exact review myself. It was sneaky good. I almost turned it off in the beginning because it just seemed over acted and cheesey but I am so glad I stuck with it because I ended up loving it. The dialogue seemed so natural and funny completely opposite of how it started. Really hoping for a S2!"

While a third person chimed in, "The dialogue is really natural! And there's romance but its not the most important thing. Really well done. Theres drama but laughs too. The brother is hilarious. The lead actress is great. Super charismatic!"
