Melania Trump announced she will be releasing a two-part docuseries offering a closer look at her life as first lady
The series will explore her White House work, family life, career and philanthropy
The first lady said there is no exact release date, but she is expecting a November premiere
First Lady Melania Trump has another project on the horizon: a new docuseries.
The 56-year-old appeared on the Wednesday, Sept. 23 episode of Fox & Friends and briefly said that she will share an even closer look at her life in a new two-part docuseries.
She explained that the new series will be “very different” from the recent documentary Melania. The Amazon MGM film was released in January and chronicled Melania’s experience of the 20 days before President Donald Trump’s second inauguration in January 2025.
“It’s more conversation one-on-one with me,” Melania said. “There’s some private questions that I will answer that people never heard before, so it’s kind of exciting.”
Melania did not share a release date, but hinted that the series would be released in November.

The confirmation of the new series comes after a report in early August revealed that Melania has been quietly working on a new docuseries.
At the time, her senior adviser, Marc Beckman, said on Real America’s Voice that the series will explore the first lady’s work inside the White House, along with her family life, career and philanthropic efforts. He described it as a deeper look into her world than the feature-length documentary.

The Brett Ratner-directed film was backed by a $40 million deal with Amazon MGM Studios and a $35 million marketing campaign.
Melania debuted at the box office, grossing $7.04 million worldwide during its opening weekend between Jan. 30 and Feb. 1. The performance marked the biggest opening weekend for a nonfiction film in the past decade, according to Deadline. It surpassed the previous record set by 2023’s After Death, which opened to $5 million.
The film has drawn a stark divide between critics and audiences, earning one of the largest gaps in Rotten Tomatoes history. The film holds a 10% critics’ score, while 99% of verified audience members rated it positively. The disparity marked the biggest split between critics and audiences the review site had ever recorded, a Rotten Tomatoes spokesperson told PEOPLE in February.

After the film premiered, Beckman told PEOPLE that Melania’s production company, Muse Films, will continue producing lifestyle content for film and television, focusing on lifestyle themes that cater to female audiences.
“Think fashion, art, music, sports and entertainment,” Beckman said, plus “areas like technology, family, health and wellness.”
