Jack Haven is seeking qualifying work before a looming health insurance deadline. The actor said they need to earn $4,000 by the end of the month to qualify for SAG health coverage and have appealed directly to Hollywood for a production job.

Haven shared the work appeal in a YouTube video titled “Are You Casting?” They explained that the money needs to come through qualifying SAG work and said the deadline is connected to health insurance coverage beginning in January.

“I need to make $4,000 by the end of the month,” Haven said. They explained that reaching that amount would help them qualify for SAG health insurance starting in January. Haven then asked anyone hiring to consider bringing them onto a production.

“I will do pretty much any job,” Haven said during the appeal. They listed several skills while explaining their willingness to work.

“I can sing, I can dance, I can talk softly, loudly,” they said.

Haven also offered accents as another potential skill for production work, specifically mentioning their ability to perform a British accent. The actor then provided an email address for potential employers.

The appeal quickly received attention across social media. Haven later shared another video addressing the response.

“I got a lot of offers,” they said while thanking viewers for their support.

However, some viewers criticized Haven for seeking qualifying work. The actor acknowledged comments telling them to “get a real job” and explained why that would not solve their immediate situation.

“That wouldn’t really help with healthcare right now,” Haven said.

They also joked about their current work, mentioning figure modeling at an art school.

Haven is known for starring in I Saw the TV Glow and Netflix’s Atypical. They also recently appeared in Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma.

The health insurance appeal comes alongside Haven’s broader work in the entertainment industry. They have also directed two feature films and are writing another project.
