WARSAW, June 13 (Reuters) - Poland will in the summer end measures capping fuel prices amid expectations that the conflict involving Iran will ease and prices will stabilise, Prime Minister Donald Tusk said on Saturday.
In March, the government announced cuts on VAT on fuel to 8% from 23%, a reduction in excise duty to the EU minimum and started capping prices of motor fuel on a daily basis. Since the introduction, the measures have been extended every two weeks.

On Friday, Poland decided to extend a VAT cut and price caps on gasoline and diesel till the end of June, but did not extend reductions in excise duty.
"We had the cheapest fuels in Europe throughout this crisis, but we will be finalising this project this summer," Tusk told reporters in Lomza, eastern Poland.
