Anne Hathaway is pregnant with her third child and has had a particularly busy year. She has five movies lined up this year while expecting her third child. Her latest project, “Verity,” is set to premiere soon. It adds another major release to the actor’s already packed year. But Hathaway already knows what she wants to do once the movie hits theatres.

Anne Hathaway has a clear plan for what comes after “Verity.” In a video shared by Entertainment Tonight on Instagram, the actress revealed that she intends to take some time off once the movie arrives in theatres on October 2.
“I’m taking a little break,” Hathaway said when asked about her plans after welcoming her baby. She then joked about how quickly she plans to disappear once “Verity” premieres. “The movie comes out October 2nd, and on October 3rd, I’m going to like vanish in a plume of smoke,” she said.
“Verity” is a psychological thriller directed by Michael Showalter. Hathaway stars as bestselling author Verity Crawford alongside Dakota Johnson and Josh Hartnett.

Hathaway added that fans would not see her “until you have to.” However, the break will only last for a few months. Hathaway confirmed that she will return to work in March, when she joins Tom Cruise for Days of Thunder 2.
She appeared as Andy Sachs in “The Devil Wears Prada 2,” played Penelope in Christopher Nolan’s “The Odyssey,” and also starred in “The End of Oak Street.” “The Princess Diary 3” is also in the production phase, and “Mother Mary” was released in April 2026. Her fifth movie of the year, Verity, will arrive in October.
Hathaway is also promoting “Verity” while expecting her third child. She recently opened up about having plenty of support during the film’s press tour. For now, Verity marks an important point in Hathaway’s packed year.
