A source close to the royal family says that William has authorized his staff to liaise with Harry’s team to avoid scheduling clashes, reported Closer. Now that Harry is spending more time in the UK, “William has given the go-ahead for his team to speak to Harry’s staff to coordinate things when necessary.” This is because “he’s realized it will look ridiculous if their engagements are overlapping.”
The source notes that coordination has become more urgent as Harry ramps up his charitable work in Britain. This “willingness by William to coordinate” is being read as meaningful. It could even be “a step towards a truce,” the source says, “albeit a very small one.”
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle recently relocated back to England with their children, Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5. The couple spent roughly six years in Montecito, California. The move has reportedly forced William to confront a reality he would rather avoid.

According to the insider, “[William] would love to continue to ignore Meghan and Harry and avoid ever being in the same room as them again.” However this “clearly isn’t going to be possible.” The Sussexes are “very intent on forcing themselves back in, and the king is allowing it.”
The family’s relationship took a notable turn when the full Sussex family visited King Charles at Highgrove House. Despite the hopeful outcome of the meeting, the source also suggests that Charles remains largely uninformed about Harry’s overall plans since his return.
As for William, the source indicates his patience has limits. “Harry is still pushing for a one-on-one dialogue, but for now, coordinating schedules is about as far as William is willing to go, and he’s far from happy that he’s even got to do that.”
