Prince William is reportedly "furious" at Queen Camilla's attempt to undermine his authority and meddle in a sensitive Royal Family matter: Prince Harry and King Charles' recent reunion.
On July 10, Prince Harry, 41, his wife, Meghan Markle, 45, and their children, Archie, 7, and Lilibet, 5, had a top-secret reunion with the 77-year-old monarch and his wife, 79, after four years. The private meeting took place at Highgrove House, Charles' country residence, according to Buckingham Palace. William and his wife, Kate Middleton, are said to have been kept entirely in the dark about the meeting.
While Charles made efforts to keep the meeting as secret as possible, royal commentators have continued to speculate on its details. Now, Camilla's alleged "interference" in the reunion has reportedly frazzled palace insiders, especially William.

According to Vanity Fair's sources, Camilla, who was staying at her Ray Mill House estate at the time, drove to Highgrove for the meeting in "quite a hurry" to be there for "moral support" because she had been a "pillar of strength" for Charles "throughout all the drama with Harry, and she dropped everything."
However, an insider has now told Radar Online, "Camilla argues that she was there to watch over things and keep an eye on Meghan because she doesn't trust her. She insists she only agreed to go because Charles needed her there to support him and protect him, but William isn't buying that."

The source added, "As far as he's concerned, it was a classic case of her trying to divide and conquer, and he's furious she inserted herself into such a sensitive meeting without his backing."
The insider added that William has never trusted his stepmother and is now uneasy about her attending the reunion without his knowledge.
The source told the publication, "He has never trusted her, and the only thing they've agreed on in recent years is how poisonous Meghan and Harry are - so the fact that she's gone behind his back and made this show of welcoming them has set all his alarms ringing."
Furthermore, the Prince of Wales reportedly felt that the Queen Consort had more nefarious intentions with her appearance at the reunion. She wanted to send him a message that she is "more in power," considering he and Kate were left in the dark about the meeting.
The insider said, 'He's convinced this was her way of trying to undermine his authority and send the message that she's still got more power than he does and he's livid."
Katie Nicholl, Vanity Fair royal correspondent, reported that Charles, "who has sworn his youngest son and daughter-in-law to secrecy," demanded that nothing about their meeting be leaked.

Only palace aides were given the okay to confirm the reunion took place after the Sussexes left Highgrove House without being spotted.
A source close to Charles told Nicholl that the hour-long meeting was "completely cloak-and-dagger, orchestrated by the king."
"The king wanted to see Harry and the children," said the source. "A time was agreed for the Sussexes to come to Highgrove... and it was uncharacteristically last-minute for the King. Everyone was sworn to secrecy so that the meeting could remain private."
Whether Camilla was there to keep an eye on Meghan or not, it didn't exactly work. She and Charles reportedly believe Meghan has broken the deal of secrecy, and they're livid.
Reports claim that the royals are fuming after Meghan allegedly broke an agreement not to share details of their U.K. visit on social media.
Camilla reportedly said she didn't want any social media posts about Harry and Meghan's visit to the U.K. However, Meghan later shared photos from the Sussexes' visit to Althorp, the late Princess Diana's ancestral home and final resting place, in a carousel post captioned, "Summer Holiday."

Despite the post having nothing to do with the reunion itself, insiders now claim that Camilla feels slighted by Meghan's blatant disregard for her rule.
"Camilla's words appear to have fallen on deaf ears," a palace insider reportedly told New Idea. "She feels that she was clear about no social media posts, and if Meghan thinks Althorp was an exception, she was very wrong."
Charles reportedly agrees with Camilla and is allegedly wondering whether the social media post throws their trust in Harry and Meghan into question.
It was previously claimed that Camilla thinks it's a "grave mistake" to let the couple back into the Royal Family's good graces.
Another insider previously told the outlet, "The family doubts that Meghan will be able to stick to this agreement, but Harry and Meghan are well aware this is a 'test of their loyalties,' and if they wish to continue being royals, it has to be in the King's interests."
Meanwhile, as Charles and Camilla's trust in Harry and Meghan is up in the air, former royal butler Grant Harrold claims it is likely they're keeping a "close eye" on Meghan in case she chooses to jeopardize the fragile trust she has with them.
Harrold - who worked for King Charles between 2004 and 2011 and also served William, Kate, and Harry - told The Express US, "Anything Meghan Markle does going forward will affect the Royal Family, and they will be keeping a close eye on her."
