Many are itching to get across the country, but travel could get a bit trickier as we end this week.

Should you be traveling to Florida for Spring Break, you may want to pack a rain jacket for one more day on Thursday before drier conditions arrive. Rounds of rain and storms could bring flooding, especially to the east coast of the state.

A storm system is dropping in from Canada to impact the upper Midwest and Great Lakes through Friday. The cold front associated with this system will stall out over the Central U.S. for the next couple of days, potentially leading to an increase in delays throughout the week.

A separate system will begin to impact Northern California beginning Thursday, which will kickstart a more active pattern for the region to end the week.

The Southern Plains could see severe weather this weekend into early next week. Dallas, Austin and Kansas City could each be impacted.

If you're heading south in the days ahead, keep in mind that the trees are in full swing. Pollen sufferers will want to account for that in any outdoor plans. You can see how far north the pollen has gotten in maps at the end of this article.
