Celebrities are calling out Donald Trump for his “disgusting” comments following the deaths of Rob Reiner and his wife Michele. **

Actor Josh Gad, musician Jack White, and the hosts of *The View *are just a few of the stars who have criticized the 79-year-old president after he claimed that Reiner died due to “Trump Derangement Syndrome” in a lengthy Truth Social post on Monday. **

“There is no low that is too low for this f---ing psychopath,” Gad wrote on Threads, sharing a screenshot of Trump’s statement. “Rob Reiner was 1000 times the man you are and unlike you, he actually cared about the American people.” **

He continued, “Go paint your hand on your gold f---ing toilet and destroy things like the White House. That’s what you do best.”

The *Frozen* actor proceeded to give Trump his own “preview of what will be said when you honor us all by f---ing off our planet” in a follow-up post. **

“‘Congrats on your first class ticket to Hell. He did the impossible as POTUS & made Buchanan look like Abraham Lincoln. A man so sick and horrible, even his wife couldn’t look at him or hold his hand,” Gad wrote. “‘The only freedoms he ever fought for were for pedophiles, criminals and traitors. May the memory of him be as short as his reported dick size. The gold on his s---ter is more valuable than his legacy.’”

White, who has spoken out against Trump in the past, similarly posted a screenshot of Trump’s comment on his Instagram account before addressing the former reality star’s remarks in its caption. **

“Trump you disgusting, vile, egomaniac, loser, child,” White began. “Neither he nor any one of his followers can defend this gross, horrible insult to a beautiful artist who gave the world so much. To use someone's tragic death to promote your own vanity and fascist authoritarian agenda is a corrupt and narcissistic sin.”**

He continued, “Shame on you Trump and anyone who defends this. God bless you Rob Reiner and thank you for what you gave the world. I never even met you and I still stand by you.”**

Meanwhile, Ana Navarro, Sunny Hostin, and Whoopi Goldberg similarly slammed Trump for his “shameful” remarks on Monday’s episode of *The View, *with Hostin noting that she didn’t believe Trump’s comment was “something we should be hearing about” in the wake of Reiner’s death. **

“For Trump to have put that out today, I’m gonna say it, damnit, there’s an American family grieving,” Navarro added. “This is a tragedy not just for the family, but for all who knew and loved him. And for the president of the United States to make this about him and a way to attack Rob Reiner because he exercised his American right to speak up with what he disagreed with is shameful, it’s disgraceful, and, of all the disgusting things that Donald Trump has done, this is right up there.”

Goldberg, who worked with Reiner on the 1996 film *Ghosts of Mississippi*, didn’t hold back either. “I don’t understand the man in that White House, because he talked so much about Charlie Kirk and caring,” *The* *View* moderator said. “And, suddenly, this is what he puts out. Have you no shame? No shame at all? Can you get any lower? I don’t think so.”

Reiner and his wife were both found dead of an apparent homicide in their Brentwood, Calif., home on Sunday. Their son, Nick Reiner, has since been taken into custody and is currently being held on $4 million bail.

Trump began his post on Monday by acknowledging that “a very sad thing happened last night in Hollywood” before going on to ridicule Reiner, who was a Democrat and vocal critic of the president.

“Rob Reiner, a tortured and struggling, but once very talented movie director and comedy star, has passed away, together with his wife, Michele, reportedly due to the anger he caused others through his massive, unyielding, and incurable affliction with a mind crippling disease known as TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME, sometimes referred to as TDS,” he wrote.

Trump continued, “He was known to have driven people CRAZY by his raging obsession of President Donald J. Trump, with his obvious paranoia reaching new heights as the Trump Administration surpassed all goals and expectations of greatness, and with the Golden Age of America upon us, perhaps like never before. May Rob and Michele rest in peace!”
