"Dutton Ranch" broke records for Paramount+ with its debut, and fans are saying the show is only getting better as it nears the end of its first season.

The nine-episode first season will come to a close in just a matter of weeks.

The sequel show to Sheridan's massive Paramount hit "Yellowstone" continues the story of Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler as they start a new life in South Texas.

Their new 7,000-acre ranch was an attempt at peace, but the couple quickly saw that their new home would come with hiccups and a rival ranch.

The first season was created and showrun by Chad Feehan, who left production just before the first season wrapped. At this time, not much is known about what season two will bring, if one at all.

Here's what to know about Dutton Ranch and what lies ahead for the western drama.

Its debut season overlapped with the CBS show "Marshals," which was renewed for a second season and has already started production in Park City, Utah.

When is the finale of 'Dutton Ranch?'

"Dutton Ranch" will end its first season on July 3, 2026.

The finale will be directed by Emmy Award-winning director Christina Alexandra Voros, who has directed 12 episodes of "Yellowstone."

What is 'Dutton Ranch' about?

"Dutton Ranch" is the sequel and spinoff of "Yellowstone," the Taylor Sheridan-created smash hit that aired on Paramount Network from 2018 to 2024.

Paramount describes "Dutton Ranch" as the following:

"As Beth and Rip fight to build a future together, far from the ghosts of Yellowstone, they collide with brutal new realities and a ruthless rival ranch that will stop at nothing to protect its empire. In South Texas, blood runs deeper, forgiveness is fleeting, and the cost of survival might just be your soul."

"Dutton Ranch" stars Cole Hauser and Kelly Reilly, who reprise their roles as Beth and Rip. They are joined by Ed Harris ("Appaloosa"), Annette Bening ("American Beauty"), Finn Little ("Yellowstone"), Juan Pablo Raba ("Six"), Jai Courtney ("Terminator Genisys"), J.R. Villarreal ("Spare Parts"), Marc Menchaca ("Ozark") and Natalie Alyn Lind ("The Goldbergs").
